Why is it so hard to get a 17 month old to sit still? Well I think (with the help of a sucker)we finally got ONE to send out as christmas cards. Everyone can expect to see it in their mailbox after I graduate in 13 days!! :)

Saturday October 25th

Makenzie sporting her first ponytail

Kayla lost 2 more teeth today

It rained most of the day so Kayla and Daddy took advantage of it and carved pumpkins.

hot air balloon festival

Last weekend we traveled to Paris, Va and went to the Long Branch Hot Air Balloon festival with our friends. It was alot of fun and the "glow" Friday night was beautiful.

Saturday we went back to enjoy the balloons during the day and do some of the activities they had.

Kayla tried bungie jumping. I hope this the only kind she tries. I'm pretty sure she only tried it because Anna did.

Enjoying the hay maze!

Makenzie enjoyed the animals the best, but she didn't understand that she couldn't hold them.

Makenzie's favorite thing to do

Makenzie could wrap her baby doll in a blanket all day long

It took a while, but she finally decided she was ready to toss the training wheels in the trash.

Kayla had a day off of school so we drove up to Carter Mountain and went apple picking.

Makenzie is 16 months old

Time is flying by! Makenzie is 16 months. She is growing so fast and is doing so much trying to keep up with her sister.

Heather's wedding

My friend from high school got married this past weekend and Jonathan and I got all dressed up and had a fun night out with all our friends.

Wait! That's not me he is dancing with.

Day at the fair!

The girls had a good time at the fair. We didn't let Makenzie get as close to the animals as she would have liked..for the sake of the animals. Kayla enjoyed the aerial show the best.

Savannah

Our trip to Savannah today was very enjoyable, the weather was perfect. We enjoyed walking down the riverfront and shopping.

Photo opportunity with Paula Deen's sons. Makenzie was asleep in the Ergo on my back so she missed out on talking to the guys.

Jonathan and Kayla stood in the spot where Tom Hanks sat on the bench in the movie "Forest Gump".

Fun in the sun!

The girls were so good in the car on the way to Hilton Head. We were really worried that Makenzie would fuss from being in the car seat so long. But we all survived the 6 hour car ride, but it's 8 hours going home because we aren't stopping at Joe's..so hopefully all will be good.

Makenzie climbed in the hole we dug

Kayla likes running from the waves

Makenzie and Joseph love having each other to play with

The family relaxing in the ocean

I'm ready to go swim! :)

I'm thirsty! :)

Beautiful sunset and family!
